Capsules are the right tool for a protocol. They're the wrong tool for a full experience, where you want control over the amount rather than a fixed increment.
Dried mushrooms come in 5, 10, 20, and 30 gram packs, in both Albino Penis Envy and Golden Teacher. If you're choosing between them for a larger dose, Golden Teacher is the more forgiving; APE is considerably stronger and less predictable at the same weight.

Denver decriminalized psilocybin in May 2019 through Initiative 301, the first American city to do so. In 2022, voters passed Proposition 122, the Natural Medicine Health Act, which removed state criminal penalties for personal possession, use, growing, and sharing of certain natural psychedelics by adults 21 and over, and created a framework for state-regulated healing centers offering supervised services.
The limit worth knowing: Proposition 122 did not create a retail market. Commercial sale remains prohibited, there is no legal storefront in Colorado selling psilocybin the way cannabis is sold, and psilocybin remains Schedule I under federal law regardless of state policy.
