Psilocybin tolerance builds within a day, drops steeply over the first week and is mostly gone by day 14. Enter your last dose and how long ago it was to see a rough estimate of what a similar effect would take now.
A rule of thumb, not a measurement. The curve here matches how tolerance is generally reported to fade (about 2× at day one, roughly 1.5× at day three, about 1.15× at day seven, baseline at day 14), but people vary. Never use it to go past the high-dose range above, and don't stack doses to catch up. Waiting is the only method that reliably works, which is why microdosing protocols include days off.
It depends on your weight, your experience and the strain, which is what the calculator above works out. For a 160 lb person with some experience, the estimates are roughly 0.17–0.26 g for a microdose, 0.73–1.09 g for a low dose, 1.74–2.61 g for a moderate dose and 2.61–3.92 g for a high dose of dried Golden Teacher. Start at the bottom of a range; you can't take less once it's taken.
It multiplies your body weight in kilograms by a rate for each dose level (0.003 g/kg for a microdose, 0.0125 g/kg low, 0.03 g/kg moderate, 0.045 g/kg high), adjusts for experience (0.8× if you're new, 1.15× if experienced) and shows a ±20% range because potency varies between batches. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.
Tolerance to psilocybin builds within a day and fades over roughly one to two weeks. As a rule of thumb, two days after a dose you'd need around 1.7× as much for a similar effect, after a week about 1.15×, and by day 14 you're back to baseline. That's why microdosing protocols include rest days: dosing daily stops working within a few days.
Usually 0.1–0.3 g of dried mushrooms, or 100–300 mg. A kitchen scale can't reliably tell 100 mg from 250 mg, which is why our capsules are filled to an exact 150, 350 or 600 mg.
