There's no licensed mushroom dispensary in Tacoma, and the city's 2025 resolution keeps commercial sales off the table. What there is: lab-tested magic mushrooms and microdose capsules filled to an exact milligram, packed in Seattle and shipped to Tacoma addresses the same business day.
No licensed one, and there can't be under current law: psilocybin is a Schedule I controlled substance in Washington, and Tacoma's own resolution says it doesn't authorize commercial manufacturing or sales. A shop presenting itself as a Tacoma mushroom dispensary isn't operating under any legal framework.
What we are is an online dispensary based in Seattle, just up I-5. The catalog and prices are published, we hold lab reports on the batches we sell, and orders leave the same business day in plain, unbranded packaging. We've done this kind of discreet fulfillment for four years.
If you're after the state-wide picture rather than Tacoma's, start with Washington's laws, county by county.
No, but they're a low priority. In late January 2025 the Tacoma City Council unanimously passed Resolution 41609, making entheogen-related activity by adults, possessing and using psilocybin mushrooms included, among the city's lowest law enforcement priorities.
The resolution covers adults planting, cultivating, gathering, transporting, distributing, possessing and using entheogens. It excludes commercial manufacturing or sales, possession in parks or schools, driving under the influence, and conduct that threatens public safety or creates a nuisance. When it passed, lead sponsor Councilmember Joe Bushnell said Tacoma police couldn't recall any entheogen-related prosecutions or calls in the previous decade.
It doesn't change state law, where possession is still a gross misdemeanor (details on our Washington page). It also stops at the city line: Pierce County hadn't passed a countywide measure when we checked in November 2026, so Lakewood, Puyallup, University Place and unincorporated Pierce County aren't covered. Joint Base Lewis-McChord is federal property, where federal law applies.

On paper, barely: all three cities have told police to deprioritize entheogens, Seattle in 2021, Olympia in 2024 and Tacoma in 2025. The difference is mostly the county around you, because King County passed its own motion in 2026 for its unincorporated areas and Pierce and Thurston counties haven't.
The full list, county by county, is on our Washington laws page. If microdosing is what brought you here, our Seattle microdosing guide covers capsule strengths, the research and where to find support, and it applies just as well in Tacoma.
